Kindergarten Orientation Dates and Parent Information Session

Orientation and Starting School Information

Kindergarten orientation mornings for children will be held on Wednesday 18th October, Thursday 2nd and Tuesday 14th November, and Friday 1^st December 2023 from 9:30am – 11am in classrooms. Teachers will meet parents at 9.30am at our main gate and collect students who will participate in a range of class activities.

A starting school information morning session for parents will also be held on Friday 1st December 2023 at 9:45am in our school hall. Everyone is welcome to attend.

This information session is designed to provide parents with more detailed information about all aspects of school life at Shoalhaven Heads Public School. Topics covered

will include;

·         Principals Address

·         Wellbeing- values and approach to student wellbeing,

·         Overview of curriculum - parent involvement in learning, strategies for preparing your child for school

·         Uniform

·         Parents and Citizens Association

·         Opportunity to ask questions.
